Invisalign tooth straightening

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is the invisible and comfortable way to straighten your teeth without braces using a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without metal wires or brackets. DentaCentre have offered Invisalign tooth straightening in Stockport since July 2009.
The Invisalign process has proven to be effective in clinical research and in orthdontic practices nationwide. However, only a certified dentist such as our specialist at DentaCentre can undertake the procedure.
How Does Invisalign Work?
You wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move very slowly, little by little, until they have straightened to the final position that the dentist has prescribed.
You’ll visit us about once every six weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Total treatment time averages 11 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary between patients.
The aligners are made through a combination of our dentist’s expertise and 3D computer imaging technology provided by the Invisalign company.
